Michelle Saunders Haney, PT, MSPT Administrative Consultant
Michelle is the Administrative Consultant for Euro-Peds and is also a Licensed Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Child Development and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Central Michigan University. Prior to becoming the Administrator of the program, Michelle worked at Euro-Peds as the Director, PT Manager and began as a staff PT back in 2001. When asked why she chose the field of pediatric physical therapy, Michelle explained that her sister, who has severe cognitive & physical disabilities, was her inspiration. In her free time, she enjoys photography, traveling, camping, gardening, and spending time with friends and family. Michelle and her husband, Dave, have one son and one daughter.

Sarah Card, PTA, Clinic Manager
With a previous role as the ACCE of the PTA Program at Baker College, Sarah brings experience in teaching and leadership. Sarah worked as a PTA at Euro-Peds for several years before filling the position of clinic manager. She enjoys family time, especially when making great memories while at the lake.

Karla Wickerham, Clinic Coordinator
Karla has been an invaluable member of the Euro-Peds staff since 2003. She not only is a well-respected and valued member of the therapy team, she also supervises the aides while keeping the clinic well-organized and running smoothly at all times. Karla graduated from Mott Community College with an Associates Degree in general studies, and has pursued additional studies in Early Childhood Development at The University of Michigan. Prior to working at Euro-Peds, she taught preschool and substituted in the public school system. Karla has also worked in a daycare center and in special education. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, scrapbooking, taking walks on her property and being with her husband, two daughters and son-in-laws.

Chris Kirkpatrick, Office Coordinator
Chris does a great job running the front office and making sure our schedule is organized. She enjoys assisting families with their plans and preparations for coming to Euro-Peds as well as while they are here. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Development from Western Michigan University. She is a proud Mom to son Jonathan, and Chris enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her friends.

Pam Montroy, Office Assistant
Pam is one of the first to greet you at the reception desk with a genuine smile and desire to help. She has an Associates Degree in Business Management and has been a veteran healthcare worker within management, personnel supervision, scheduling, and sales, among other responsibilities. When she’s not helping patients at Euro-Peds she is running around helping her two children and spending time with her husband. She loves her job, the children, and the interaction with their parents. “I’ve always wanted to work in the medical field. I love to help, and I love to give.”

Melissa "Mel" McGinnis, PT, MPT
Mel is a licensed Physical Therapist who received her Masters in Physical Therapy from Oakland University and has additional training and experience using European-inspired tools such as Suit Therapy and the Universal Exercise Unit. She has worked as a treating therapist at Euro-Peds since 2004, served as the Clinic Supervisor in the past and frequently speaks nationally as an educator and presenter about intensive physical therapy at various conferences. Mel is respected and well-known for her ability and willingness to educate extensively about treatment methods and options for children and young adults with neuromuscular disorders. Mel and her husband, Craig, have two daughters together.

Having experience as a gymnastics coach and having been a nanny, Amanda was a natural fit when she joined the Euro-Peds team! Amanda knew that pediatrics was her calling when she did a seven week clinical at the Detroit Institute for Children while pursuing her degree at Henry Ford Community College. She has a passion for helping people improve their physical well-being, and she brings such a positive attitude to Euro-Peds each day! Amanda and her husband enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Bentley and Jack Zahn, Therapy Dog Volunteers
Sir Bentley Charles ("Bentley") is a 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and is Therapy Dog International (TDI) certified. His human, Jack Zahn, brings Bentley every week to Euro-Peds to the delight of the patients and staff. Bentley and Jack also volunteer at retirement homes and at the Independence Township Library where kids read to Bentley. Jack is a retiree who devotes much of his time now to working with and raising therapy dogs, preferably the King Charles Spaniel variety. Bentley has a sister who is also a therapy dog.
