Honoring National CP Awareness Day

In honor and recognition of National Cerebral Palsy
Awareness Day on March 25, the staff of Euro-Peds came into work in a unified blaze of green HOPE T-Shirts.  The shirts were designed by Patty Lyons of Ohio, for the Reaching for the Stars organization as a fundraiser.  The sales of shirts exceeded the RFTS expectations ten-fold and became their biggest fundraiser to date at over $12,000.  The funds go towards CP research and advocacy.

Children Help Create Giant Euro-Peds Mural
At Reunion 2013

On October 6th, 2013, our friends at The Filippis Foundation made it possible for Euro-Peds to
bring in Zot Artz-Arts for All to their annual Reunion & Fun Day at Oakland Yard in Waterford, MI.
This accessible interactive and vivid art project was created for children who have physical
limitations doing traditional art.  Dwayne Szot, founder of Zot Artz, helped our reunion guests,
bring a giant 25' x 50' mural come to life with his inventions that hooked to wheelchairs,
walkers, and strollers.  We didn't know it until it was completed, but the end result was a customized
mural that was cut into long strips with the Euro-Peds logo and framed pieces of art.  We cherish
the art because it was created by our Euro-Kids, and will be hung with love and admiration on the
walls of the Euro-Peds clinic.  Thank you to all of the kids, adults, volunteers, and to Dwayne Szot
for bringing this mural to life!  You can see more photos on our Facebook page under events.

Thank you, Sam's Club, for taking photos with Santa!  The kids (and the kids at heart) were delighted!
